Sponsoring Membership

TxCIA’s Sponsoring Membership level provides a number of benefits above the standard Captive or Associate membership level. The membership benefits include one (1) free annual conference registration and opportunities for exposure on the TxCIA website and in TxCIA publications. The Sponsoring member will be listed on a TxCIA sponsoring member webpage. Also, sponsoring members will have the option of being listed in the semi-annual email communication highlighting all the sponsoring members to the TxCIA membership. Sponsoring members have one (1) voting member who is eligible to serve on the board. The Sponsoring membership also allows the member to designate up to 5 individuals who will receive association communications, have access to the members only section of the website, and are eligible to serve on association committees. In addition to the one (1) free conference registration, the Sponsoring member’s 5 designees will receive the member rate to the annual conference.

Dues: $2,750 U.S. per year

Associate Membership

An Associate member is any person or firm engaged in the provision of products or services to captive insurance companies, including but not limited to law firms, accounting firms, financial advisory firms, and investment banking firms.  Associate members may serve on committees and the board but do not have voting privileges for the purpose of organizational business conducted during the annual membership meeting. Membership is corporate; however, each associate member company can designate up to two (2) member contacts/individuals who will receive full member communications and be eligible for the member rate for the annual conference. Contacts can be changed at any time if necessary.

Dues: $1,100 U.S. per year

Captive Membership

A Captive member is any entity that has a licensed captive, as well as any captive management company, that manages a licensed captive. Captive members have one (1) voting member and are eligible to serve on the board and on association committees. Membership is corporate; however, each full member company can designate up to one (1) member contact/individual that will receive member communications and be eligible for the member rate for the annual conference. Contact can be changed at any time if necessary.

Dues: $825 U.S. per year

Government Employee / Individual Membership

The Government Employee or Individual member is any individual who is a local, state, or federal employee, a regulator or elected official and her/his staff or for an individual who is self-employed or does not wish to join as a member of firm or corporation.  These members may serve on committees but cannot serve on the board and do not have voting privileges. These members are eligible for the member rate for the annual conference. 

Dues: $165 U.S. per year

Student Membership

A Student member is any individual currently enrolled in courses at any university/college and is interested in Captive Insurance. Student members will receive full member communications, but do not have voting privileges and cannot serve on a committee. They will also receive a discounted rate for the annual TxCIA conference.

Dues: $55 U.S. per year
